How to Login to the HUHS Patient Portal
The process of logging into the HUHS Patient Portal differs based on whether you are a HarvardKey holder or not:
- For HarvardKey Holders:
- Visit the HUHS Patient Portal login page.
- Select the option to log in with your HarvardKey.
- Enter your HarvardKey username and password. This is the same set of credentials used across Harvard’s online services.
- Once authenticated, you will gain access to your patient portal dashboard.
- For Non-HarvardKey Holders:
- Visit the same portal login page.
- Use the username and password provided to you by HUHS Health Information Services/Medical Records.
- If it’s your first time logging in, or if you have not received your login credentials, you might need to contact HUHS directly for access.

How to Sign Up for the HUHS Patient Portal
If you are new to Harvard or do not yet have access to the patient portal, signing up is straightforward:
- Send an email to mrecords@huhs.harvard.edu expressing your desire to create a patient portal account.
- Include your full name, Harvard ID number, and contact information in the email.
- A team member from Health Information Services will reach out to provide detailed instructions and help set up your account.
